Adamant Data Responsibility Notice

Adamant is a beta memory tool. This notice is product guidance, not legal advice. Review your own legal, compliance, vendor, and security requirements before importing personal, business, regulated, or confidential data.

Current beta model

User-controlled data choices

You decide what to import, which services to connect, which namespace to write to, which model provider to call, and whether to send retrieved context outside the browser. Do not import data unless you have the right to process it and the connected services are acceptable for that data.

Third-party service terms

Supabase, Pinecone, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, local model servers, and other configured providers process data under the accounts, credentials, configurations, retention settings, and terms selected by the user. Adamant cannot override those third-party terms or guarantee how those services handle data after it is sent to them.

Risk-reduction controls

No absolute guarantee

Sanitization, metadata redaction, RLS, and local-first controls reduce risk but cannot guarantee that sensitive information is never inferred from embeddings, retained by third-party providers, exposed by user configuration, or accessed from a compromised device.

Future hosted options

If Adamant later offers hosted storage or managed vector infrastructure, the hosted service should have separate terms, privacy disclosures, security documentation, data-retention controls, and deletion/export workflows before users rely on it for sensitive data.
